OUR STORY
LAND'S HARVEST originally came about from like-minded growers and gardeners bonding regularly at various farms, seminars and farmer's markets. There's always, so much knowledge to share, such as growing tips, microbial life functions, composting methods, as well as various agro-philosophies of permaculture, bio-dynamic farming, forest-farming and the like. These talks brought to light healthy and productive ideas for farming the earth.
All this inspired us to form an alliance of conscious growers who share the conviction that mother nature has guidelines one can follow for exponential growth, so long as one is open to discovering those laws and lessons. Knowing that if you manage a garden or a farm the way that nature manages her forests and pastures, then true abundance can be formed. Far too long has the agricultural industry fought with mother nature, sterilizing the soils and force-feeding plants with synthetic fertilizers and the like. Modern produce, as well commercial-scale organic produce, is depleted of nutrients and the all important flavors.
There's now a resurrection of those harmonious growing methods that have been practiced throughout the world for millennia. And along with the widespread sharing of holistic sciences, these small farms and gardens are becoming the sanctuaries where we can rediscover our humanity..
